There are a number of grants and scholarahips offered around the country to children and adults on the spectrum.

The ASP gives the parents of children with autism who qualify for a scholarship the choice to send the child to a special education program other than the one operated by the school district of residence to receive their education and the services outlined in the child's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Autism Education Plan (AEP).

The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student's Evaluation Team Report (ETR). Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount.

Can Do Canines trains Autism Assist Dogs to help provide security and peace of mind to families of children with autism.
When in public, the child wears a specially designed belt that connects a pack the dog wears to the child, while an adult handles the dog’s leash. If the child attempts to run (a common behavior for autistic children), the dog becomes a gentle, steady anchor to keep the child safe until the adult can get the situation under control.
Autism Assist Dogs also act as a social bridge, so when people talk to the child about their dog it encourages the child to interact and make connections.

MilitaryVALoan.com proudly offers scholarships in support of disability awareness. Every year, a prospective or current college student is selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship to help with the costs associated with attending school. Applicants should submit an essay between 500 and 1000 words about how they or someone they knew overcame disability to do something great. Applicants need to be 17 years of age or older either currently accepted to a college program but not yet started, or currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies.

The Google Lime Scholarship is administered by Lime Connect. This scholarship is available to undergraduate or graduate students who are pursuing a computer science or IT degree, who have displayed a high level of academic success, and who have a visible or invisible disability. According to Lime Connect, “We know that 90% of disabilities on campus are invisible, and candidates with all disabilities are encouraged to apply.” The scholarship for students in the U.S. is $10,000. The scholarship for students in Canada is $5,000.
